The Drive section is fantastic: around 9:00 there is a nice, crisp boost to your guitar’s signal, 12:00 boasts a bit of a slight drive, perfect to add a bit of grit to your sound, and after 3:00 it gets warm and rich, propelling your amp into the sweet sonic spot we all chase. The tonal range in this pedal is immense, and really allows you to hone your sound and use the Lightspeed to boost not only your decibel level, but your guitar’s overall sonic properties, too. ![]() There’s no Physics Degree from UGA required to work this simple beauty: Loudness is your volume control, Freq is your eq or tone-shaper and Drive, of course, controls the Drive. I’ve been looking for a kind of Boost / Light Drive to push my signal a little bit up front, and it seemed like this just might be a perfect fit.
